You’re invited to a Clean UP Event. The Louisiana Marathon will take place on Jan. 14-15, 2023 where hundreds of participants will come from all over the state and country to be in Baton Rouge. We want to make the marathon an even better experience for our guests by making sure the streets are cleaned up. Come join Clean Pelican and Louisiana Marathon along with other local businesses as we help make targeted areas of the 26.2 miles of the route cleaner and more beautiful for the runners and participants. And while we are getting trash off the streets, it helps prevent catastrophic flooding by preventing trash from clogging our storm drains while raising property values and improving quality of life. Clean Pelican will provide safety training and all equipment needed to pick up trash. Please wear closed-toed shoes and lightweight long pants, if possible. Bringing your own drinking water is also recommended. Children 17 and younger must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
